DuraBlack

DuraBlack aluminum is a true CO₂ laser-engravable metal that requires no pre-treatment, offering a durability of 8 to 10 years.

During engraving, the laser beam interacts with the black layer, producing a high-contrast white marking on a matte black background, which is ideal for barcode scanning.

It consists of a multi-level coating on an aluminum base, resistant to abrasion, without requiring additional protection. It is a robust material, suitable for applications in harsh environments.

How does your markings on DuraBlack work?

DuraBlack works through a laser engraving process:

Prepare the file to be marked (text, QR code, logo, numbering, etc.) in design software compatible with the laser.
Place the DuraBlack plate into the CO₂ laser machine, with no need for pre-treatment.
The laser modifies the black anodized layer to reveal a clear and sharp contrast, creating a perfectly legible white or light gray marking.
Remove any engraving residue with a soft cloth or an air compressor.
Apply the plate with a high-performance adhesive or fasten it mechanically (rivets, screws).
